Our Stories Matter
I was recently recognized as having written one of the Best Picture Books of 2023! Zora, the Story Keeper is my pride and joy. I have written other books, but this one is close to my heart. This was a dream project to work on. Long before releasing this story to the world, I had big plans to write stories for young children who wanted to see themselves on the page.
Growing up, I read every children's book that I could find with characters who looked like. When I ran out of these stories, my mom challenged me to write my own. My dad brought home a computer and story writing game, and the rest is history. I have been writing ever since. We each have a story to tell, a story that matters. Our stories connect us. For years, I worked to develop my writing. Several of my books are on the shelves for young readers to find now once I decided it was time to break free from my limitations and step into the person I was always meant to be — confident and free to live the writing life I have always imagined.
Now, I have turned my transformation into an easy-to-follow system that anyone can use to unlock their creative potential like never before.
